A last escape

With a newborn in the near future we realized we probably won't get any babyfree time for a while. We drove to Vegas for a little escape, leaving Russ Russ with Grandma and Grandpa for a day and a half. We stayed the night at awesome Lake Las Vegas (why have I never been there?) and felt like the only guests at the beautiful resort. We also made it to the BYU/UNLV game...gag, went swimming and had the entire pool are to ourselves, went out to dinner without having to calculate $40 babysitting into our bill, and finally saw Avatar... and yes I want to be an Avatar. We also got to explore a bit of Lake Las Vegas (beautiful) and the little village (charming, romantic).

Our faces of sadness. It was pretty sad and really ugly. The madness starts tomorrow, and I am really hoping the Cougs kick it!

Had the place all to ourselves. We felt like billionares in our mansion with our butlers, maids and towel boys.
