craving the outdoors

Over the last couple of weeks, Mark and I have been craving some time in the sun, the mountains and the beach. Mark had been on a pretty intense client, working sixteen hour days for eleven straight days. This resulted in both of us feeling cooped up, extremely pasty, and really excited to do anything together.

After church last Sunday we headed to Malibu, to have a picnic on the beach. It was so relaxing to just lay on a blanket in the sun, and we took some fun shots of the reflection of the sky on the wet sand.

As you can see, no amount of rays can alter my state of pastiness, but it still feels delicious to have the sun on my skin.

Looks so georgous! A picnic sounds amazing right now. Tell Mark not to work too hard. Can't wait for pics of Baby Gardner. ps I'll work on the pics of my house but really you should just come visit :) Although I know it will be a while since the baby is on his way.

I understand what it's like to have a husband work long hours, sniff sniff. I love your ultrasound pics!! I have a little baby present so send me your address via e-mail to rosebud5385@hotmail.com.

Ok, so sitting here in 15 degree weather looking at you on the beach is totally foreign to me! What a bonus of living in Cali! I know your due date is in Feb, but when exactly are you due??

Wow, this post really makes me wish I lived in California! Sorry to hear Mark is working insane hours. Too bad we're not closer to hang out together while our busy husbands slave away! :)

Hey Mark, I found your guys blog as I was blog hoppping! You look super happy! That is awesome you guys are in California! I love it there. We go to California about once a month! Congrats on a little man coming your way. Being parents is the best, especially to little boys!! :)

You two look great and Bekah you seriously don't even look Prego at all! I know you feel it, but you look fabulous! I am so happy I was able to see what you guys have been up too. I wish you the best with your new arrival (which I think is coming soon)! Eat up every minute because it goes by super fast! Be sure to post pictures of the new little guy!

Take care
Michele
