We have been having way too much fun lately, but it is all kind of a blur because the amount of sleep we are not getting is warping our minds. If the sentences in this post make no sense forgive me, my mind is currently not as nimble as it usually is. Supposedly babies find their schedule around this time in their lives. Ours does sleep at night, but thinks it is necessary to wake up and eat every two hours. Advice? Please, lay it on.
So, we went to Vegas a couple of weeks ago for a fabulous baby shower. Thank you Mags and mom. It was great to show the baby to all my fam and many friends. I only wish I had gotten more pictures.

This one I stole off of Britt's blog. I love it because it is one of the only pictures that captures his scream face. The first few weeks of his life he screamed a little more, but we didn't get it on camera. The last couple weeks have been a transformation. Much less crying, much more smiling.

Mark finally finished his "busy season" and we were able to escape to a beach condo down in Oceanside for a whole week! Much needed family time was spent on our first vacation together. Here are some pics from Sea World, flower fields in Carlsbad, etc...
Shamu spitting at the crowd. (Bekah cried at this show - Maternity hormones at their best)

Our little guy is growing everyday and we love him more than we thought we ever would. Being a parent really is the greatest. Here are a few more pics of Russ-Russ...
We're excited to see everybody in just a few weeks. Again, Russells baby blessing is on May 4th at 9am in Alpine along with Scott's homecoming! All are invited. Bye for now...

much love.
Russ is the highlight of your blog no offense love Rasty and Becky the SNOWS your bestest friends. Can we bless our baby at your baby blessing?
Usually I am happy with my girls and don't want a boy at all. But boy is Russ cute! Maybe I do want a boy after all.
Yeah for an update! Russ is getting so big. They change too fast. I can't believe you're blessing him May 4... we leave for Vegas May 3. Boo. Love you anyway! Kiss that Russ-Russ for me!
And as for advice... I woke up thinking about it this morning, but it's too involved to explain in a blog comment, so call me and we'll chat! I have some ideas! :)
Thanks for all the pics - he is too cute. I can't wait to meet him! I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling like a zombie - I know the feeling all too well, although not as much recently. It does get better from here on out in my opinion. Wish we could have joined you in Carlsbad.
Mark I would just like to thank you for talking my husband into taking our vacation. I don't know what you said but thanks. Also I am SO excited to see southern California but more importantly you guys and little Russ. Sure it may not be for quite a few months but I am really excited!
You have inspired a desire to go back to sea world. I have never taken David there or to Disneyworld. I probably won't cry at the Shamoo show, but I'm sure I will be very happy. I love the flowers that they have in Carlsbad this year. You got a really pretty pic.
Oops...Disneyland not Disneyworld!
Cute baby! Serious Russ is my favorite. Makes you wonder what they're thinking. I can't wait to see you guys (we're living in Vegas this summer) and for Cameron to meet Russ!
bekah,
give my Mark's grandma a hug for us! Love your blog!
