Do I Really Have to Think of a Title

Like everyone else this time of year, we are very busy. But, I still wanted to keep record of our latest activities.

We were so lucky to have Jess and Danny come stay with us for a few days. We had an amazing time with them. We spent Jessica's birthday at Disneyland. Happy Birthday Jess!

Can you see little Russ Russ?

Don't these two look just alike?

Crazy Party Animals

Goofy Little Pirate

Looks pretty natural on him eh?

It was also Disneyland's first day of Christmas, which means extra magic and romance.

If anyone is going this season you must stay for the Christmas firework show. It is the best firework show I have seen. Watching the fireworks go off to your favorite Christmas songs really makes you feel sparkly inside. Mark and I love events like this. It seems to be geared toward children, but all the kids are sleeping in their strollers, and men and women watch in awe as the fake snow falls on them and every grown-up has a huge smile plastered all over their face, us included.

Sunday after church we went to the beach, had a picnic, played Frisbee and football, went for a walk and took some photos.

Mom and Dad Wood stayed at our place over Thanksgiving, so we got to spend a little bit of time with them, but unfortunately did not get any pictures. It was fun to see them, and they left our home clean and full of little surprises for us. Thank you.

We also got to sneak away for Thanksgiving. Mom and Dad Gardner were amazing hosts as usual. They even let us drive around their car all weekend. Thank you! It was so fun to see Mom and Dad, the Cottrells, Snows and Scotty of course. I can't believe we didn't get a picture of Scott and Russ together. Russ loved his uncle Scott, and thought that everything he did was hilarious. We had such fun playing games, going to Sushi and catching up with everyone.

Grandpa Gardner and Russ Russ

Our Utah trip also included a special lunch with the Wood side and Great Grandma and Grandpa's, Casey's wedding, and breakfast with my bestest friends. Sounds like a busy weekend, but it was so relaxing. Mark and I even found time to go to a movie, relax in the hot tub and lounge around.

These two are only weeks apart. We wanted Meg to teach Russ to walk, but he didn't catch on

Christmas is coming. We have set up all of our decorations, drank hot chocolate, read Christmas stories, watched Christmas movies, done Christmas puzzles, listened to Christmas music and decorated a gingerbread house. We still have lots more Christmas to do.

FHE Activity

Merry Christmas everyone!

I was so happy to see those pictures of you guys! I miss you so much! It gives me hope to see that you guys do so much out and about with Russ. I'm such a stickler for a schedule that it seems we can't really go out much at all. You look so happy, so does Russ. I can't wait to find my camera plug-in so I can post some pics and update my darn blog! So much to update!! I love the pics of you guys at the beach! You guys have to get up here in the summer. Apparently theres a super cool beach a few minutes from our place called Alkai beach.

Oh my gosh, can I eat that little boy up? I can never get enough of him. Looks like you and the bury's had a great time. Wish we could have been there. Wish we could have seen more of you at Christmas, wish we lived close...now I'm getting all depressed. :o(

LOVE YOU!
