6 Things you may not know about Luke on his 6 month birthday;

1. He has red hair. People seem genuinely surprised when they see him in person.
2. He is a thumb sucker.
3. He has a great big bum. It is disproportionately large. He gets it from his mom, no wait his dad, no his mom. Wherever it comes from it is dang cute.
4. When I put him in his crib, he looks at me, smiles, whines for about a second, rolls onto his tummy and pops his thumb in his mouth and goes to sleep.
5. He is adored by his family. Russell is more excited to see him in the morning than he is to see mom and dad. He wants to hold him, jump for him, lay on him, snuggle him and sit on him always.
6. When I was 6 weeks pregnant with him, I bled a lot. We rushed to the emergency room, and were completely convinced we had lost him. We were shocked when the ultra-sound technician said, "Do you see that little flicker, that is your baby's heartbeat." What a wonderful moment. Emotional. I will spare the details. I am so glad he decided to hold on for dear life and join our family.
